Iran confirmed on Saturday that a plane, chartered by the NATO-led International Security Assistance Forces (ISAF) serving in Afghanistan, had landed at the southern Iranian airport Bandar Abbas and remained on Iranian territory briefly.
It was flying from the allied military base Bargam in Afghanistan to Dubai, with up to 100 passengers including American servicemen, on board. The plane reportedly proceeded the flight to its destination.
