EMERGENCY Twin-engine aircraft had to make an emergency landing in northwest Nebraska after it lost power to both engines

Officials say a twin-engine aircraft had to make an emergency landing at a municipal airport in northwest Nebraska after it lost power to both engines.

A spokesman for the city of Chadron says the emergency landing happened around 8 p.m. Monday at Chadron Municipal Airport. No injuries were reported.

The aircraft landed short of the runway in a wheat field and pasture.

Federal officials are investigating the case.
