CRASH: Small plane crash on Carlsbad State Beach

There has been a plane crash on Carlsbad State Beach. Videos and pictures have surfaced on Twitter  of the scene.

Twitter user Cory Vaughn explained "first I saw the plane's banner drop about 50ft from shore then it made a 180 turn and crash landed on the beach"

The FAA have said that the banner plane was from Air Ads in El Cajon. It was a Single engine Piper PA18. The single Engine lost power. Only pilot on board, not injured.
