NEWS Texas-bound British Airways flight diverts to Boston after passenger punched his wife mid-air

A London-to-Houston flight made an emergency landing in Boston Wednesday because a passenger attacked his wife, officials said.

Massachusetts state troopers met the British Airways craft — and its unruly passenger — on Logan Airport’s tarmac Wednesday afternoon, the Massachusetts State Police said in a statement

The man punched his wife while on the plane, and was so intoxicated he could not walk on his own. State Police said it is possible Halliwell could face additional charges related to the alleged assault.
