INCIDENT Condor A320 flight #DE3328 at Tenerife descended below minimum safe height on Dec 11th 2013

A Condor Airbus A320- performing flight DE3328 from Hamburg (Germany) to Tenerife Sur Reina Sofia,CI (Spain) with 121 passengers and 6 crew, was on approach to Tenerife South Airport's runway 08 at about 11:33L, when the aircraft descended to 704 feet, about 7nm short of the runway while still over the Atlantic Ocean. 

Following an alert the crew initiated a go-around and diverted to Fuerteventura,CI (Spain) where the aircraft landed safely about one hour later.

The aircraft refueled and flew again to Tenerife for a safe landing with a delay of 3 hours.

The airline confirmed the incident stating that the crew are trained to detect and correct such occurrences. Spain's Authorities are investigating.
