NEWS IATA: LatAm aviation growth to drive social, economic benefits

Passenger growth in Latin America and the Caribbean (LatAm) could reach 385 million within ten years if the region’s governments address infrastructure bottlenecks, embrace smarter regulation, and observe global standards and best practices, according to The International Transport Association. In 2014, passenger numbers in the region were 242 million.
