BREAKING EasyJet #U25259 to Rome is declaring an emergency. Live:

UPDATE 19:22UTC The aircraft had hydraulic pressure issues that could have effected their brakes and spoilers.

UPDATE 19:09UTC Aircraft circling for LGW are now moving in for arrival.

UPDATE 19:05UTC #U25259 landed safely at Gatwick, emergency vehicles to follow aircraft to stand.

UPDATE: Been given priority landing all other aircraft in area circling awaiting permission to fall in to landing slots.

UPDATE: EasyJet had to send crew from London Gatwick to Rome this evening due to flight disruption caused by thunderstorms. Unfortunately it has taken longer than expected which has resulted in missing air traffic control slot. The flight departed 2 hours late.
